Alternative designs- Character and environment- 2nd Yr
I still like the blue themed design from these, but I thought the colour palette on the other two was more striking. I kept the climbing gear, as I feel that added some much needed detail to a fairly simple yet recognisable looking design. More can be found about this project here

Alternative designs- Nackanas- 3rd Yr
From the feedback I got on these, people seemed to like the last two the most. Multiple people said that immediately the third was most visually appealing, but after thinking about it, they liked the middle for its thematic relevance. Originally the middle option has a blue and purple smokkr, but the feedback still favoured the red far more than the others.

Character Sheet - Bea Harte - Personal projects
This characters personality is sunny and cheerful, so I wanted this to be reflected in the design. Because multiple of the characters from this story wear the same uniform, it was an interesting challenge seeing how I could personalise the uniform to each character. For Bea, she is a scatterbrain, and is often seen not wearing her tie, like she has lost or forgotten to wear it.

Architecture designs- Character and environment- 2nd Yr
The architecture from this project was based on art nouveau, because of its organic forms, like plants. The colours are light and warm toned, to give a feeling of a sunny climate.

Character Sheet - Eliphiel Overlands - Personal projects
These iterations were mostly a study of creating a fictional countries formal or traditional clothing. Because this culture is a take on angels, a lot of my inspiration for the clothing comes from religious garb, robes and nun guimpe. It also has military influence, the culture being very rules based and strict, but also wealthy and powerful. The shoulders in these outfits are all amplified to give the wearer a strong look.

Prop designs- Production Pipeline project
This project was set in a 'living planet', where the environment was based on a human body. So for the weapons, I based them off syringes, so they would have a medical theme. The player would have to use the guns to 'inject' the monsters, which were based of viruses and bacteria, with antiviral solution.

] Environment Art- Production Pipeline project
This piece was done as a concept for the previously mentioned project, where the environment was based on a human body. This part was a play on the phrase 'mouth of a cave', where I drew the rocks as teeth protruding from the gummy ground.

Alternative designs- Original Nackanas- Knights
The undead knight of nackanas were a group of NPC characters for the original nackanas project.

Lucius- Personal Projects
This piece was done for an Artfight attack, an annual art game where you draw other peoples characters to attack or defend your team. This character was very fun to draw.

Yrsa iterations - concept art project- 1st year
These iterations were for the thunderdome project in 1st year, where the task was to create a series of concept art pieces based on a specific brief. Yrsa was a scifi/norse combined themed character. I had lots of fun designing these characters and receiving feedback during this project!

Yrsa final concepts- concept art project- 1st year
I still love this piece even though my technical skill in 2d has gone further. It was just stylised enough to stay aesthetically pleasing, but also was very helpful for locating the weaker points of my style, which included texture, depth, and posing.

Personal projects- spiderverse fanart
As a huge spiderman fan, I has to jump on the 'spidersona' train back when the second spiderverse movie came out. While im not a big fan artist, this presented an interested design opportunity. My spidersona is a more personalised take on the iconic red and blue colour palette, where a more muted red and navy blue mix together to create pinks and purples. I also experiment with alternate variations of the spider sigil, usually placed on the chest. I tried a couple variations of having the spider be placed on the arms instead, and also a tactical vest- esque design that branched out like spider legs.
